A few weeks ago I took my best friend’s twin daughters to Joann Fabrics so they could pick out their own fabric for me to make them an item of their choice. Check out my post last week about the mate to this shirt, a tiny Frozen one of course, here.
For my favorite muses’ 4th birthday, I had them pick out their own sewing pattern and fabric for me to make them a one-of-a-kind gift.
My workplace is having a fundraiser in a couple of weeks, and my group’s contribution is to make a new baby basket that we’ll then auction off. Inside of it will be things like diapers, wipes, a spa gift card for mom, etc. I figured I could add to it by making something. I wanted to keep it in the 3-6 month range, which narrowed down my already owned pattern options quite a bit. Then I went with one I hadn’t made in quite a while.
