I made two felt doll sets for my favorite twin set recently. I made them each a boy and a girl with a bunch of clothes and a carrying case to put everything in. I’ve gotten so much interest from people about these that I actually put a PDF tutorial up on Etsy for anyone to be able to make their own. The best part is that no sewing machine is required! (Details are below.)
This particular twin set were almost 3 when I gave the felt doll sets to them. The pieces are too small to be used without adult supervision, but it definitely keeps them entertained. It’s adorable to see how they put the shoes on (like in the image above). So close little ladies, so close.
Here’s Frankie helping me create the pattern in Illustrator. Thanks, Frankie!
If you want to make a set of your own, check out my listing on Etsy. I created a to-scale pattern and tutorial with step-by-step photos. Included in the PDF pattern is one girl, dress, overalls, shorts, pants, skirt, two shirts and two pairs of shoes. It’s available for immediate download here.
