I love making these burp cloths for baby gifts. They’re easy to make and as far as I’ve been told, they really come in handy.
If you want to make a set for yourself or to give as a gift, check out this link for a list of supplies that I use for just about every project. In addition, you’ll need roughly 12″ x 20″ of fabric and terry cloth for each burp cloth. Then all you do is serge or zig zag stitch the sides together. You could also straight stitch the sides with the wrong sides of the fabrics together and turn right side out. But that’s a little too much work for me for something that’s used for baby vom.
For this set I made them for a friend to give as a gift. I know that the mom is a dancer, and the baby’s name is Pearl. Two of the burp cloths say “Pearl” and three say “Tiny Dancer”.
