I’ve been wanting to make a macramé wall hanging for a couple of years now. I finally took the plunge a couple of weeks ago, and am so happy with the results.
I’ve had a very small piece, about 1 yard, of this red and grey checked fabric left over from a previous project for a couple of years. I wasn’t sure if I was going to find something to make with it, until I saw this poncho pattern in my stash last week.
I love having fresh-cut flowers in the house. I honestly don’t buy them very often because of the added expense, so I was very excited when we had friends over for dinner the other night who were thoughtful enough to bring a bouquet of flowers with them. I dropped them into a vase of water right away, and then spent just a few minutes sprucing them up later.
