DIY Cat Shirt

This year was the year of budgeted Christmas gifts. My original plan was to make them all, but ain’t nobody got time for that, am I right? I was able to make a few however, like this fox face shirt I posted last week, and this cat shirt below.

I got the t-shirt on super sale at Joann’s a few months ago, and I obviously have tons of fabric, so I decided to combine the two.

The fleece I used was actually left over from the Snoopy costume I made last year.  In order to get the face to adhere straight and flat, I used double sided fusible interfacing – I always use heat n bond brand, but I’m sure there are other brands available out there. So all-in for this bad boy was about $4!

If you want to make one yourself, you can download and use the cat face pattern I created here.
